For this 16th edition of the Blues Caravan label manager Thomas Ruf has sent three young talents into the race. Jeremiah Johnson from St.Louis has been one of the most up-and-coming guitarists on the club scene in the Southern States for years. In 2007 Ryan Perry was a member of the probably youngest blues formation 'ever', the Homemade Jamz Blues Band, which recorded several successful records for NorthernBlues. The singer is Whitney Shaw, an explosive bundle of energy from San Diego/California. Fire red hair, glittery clothes and swinging R & B are her trademarks, paired with a great stage presence.
